Linda Jane (Bolton) Ayers

Linda Jane (Bolton) Ayers, 74, of Leighton passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023. Visitation will be Sunday, March 5, 2023 from 12-2 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with a service to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Brother Shane McGregor will be officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Creek Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her late husband of 53 years, Nolan Van Ayers; parents, J.D. and Earlene Bolton; brother, Larry Wayne Bolton; sister, Patsy White; and daughter-in-law, Lora K. Ayers.

She is survived by her son, Michael Ayers; daughters, Laura (Jeff) Flanagan and Stephanie (Doyle) Taylor; grandchildren, Ashley (Justin) Thompson, Chace (Marisa) Ayers, Shannea and Landen Flanagan, Alexis and Drake Taylor; great grandchildren, Ava, Averie, and Kase Thompson, Tori, Andrew, and Chance Ayers; sisters, Nellie McClung and Gloria Bolton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Marshall Ayers, Wade Ayers, Greg Ayers, Scottie Ayers, Heath Ayers, and David Jones.

Linda was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, her family, church, and community.
