Martha Rose "Rodie" (Gargis) Berryman

Martha Rose “Rodie” Gargis Berryman, 81, of Leighton, AL passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024. Visitation will be Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 12-2 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with a service to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Bro. Troy Tannehill will be officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. She was a member of Spring Valley Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jake Gargis and step-mother, Helen Gargis; mother, Edith Orene Coan and step-father, Hillard Coan; and brother, Donald Gargis.

She is survived by her husband, Alfred Berryman; sons, Nicholas Berryman (Joan) and Todd Berryman (Kathy); brothers, Steve Gargis and Mike Coan (Kim); sisters, Sandra Stanley, Marlene Grissom, and Sheila Brown (Larry); grandchildren, Nicholas Berryman (Maggie), Nicole Ndaira (Pritchard), Kayla Holder (Brady), Keri Anna Traffanstedt, and Karson Berryman; great grandchildren, Carter Berryman, Wanda Mae Berryman, Charlotte Ndaira, Jackson Ndaira, Izabellah Hill, Deklin Holland, Hattie Jo Holland, Madalyn Watkins, Jase Watkins, host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Todd Berryman, Nicholas Berryman, Jay Brown, Brett Brown, Chris Boatwright, Trevor Stanley, Jonathon Wright, Cody Wright. Honorary pallbearers will be Karson Berryman, Taylor Wanless, and Tanner Wanless.
