Rachel Ann (Wales) Johns

Rachel Ann Wales Johns, 81, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023. There will be a graveside service held at 3pm on Monday, January 23, 2023 at Roselawn Cemetery, Athens.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sedrick Johns; parents, Johnnie and Rilla Wales; sister, Joyce Wales; brother, Randy Wales; and nephew, Jeff Wales.

Survivors include her son, Troy Chambers (Dixie); grandchildren, Caleb, Harley, and Joshua Chambers; sister, Debbie Danley; brothers, Harold Wales of Athens and Steve Wales of Montgomery; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Rachel enjoyed her pretty flowers and embroidery. Her greatest enjoyment was playing piano and singing at church.

Family will serve as pallbearers.

Colbert Memorial Chapel, Tuscumbia, is assisting the family.
