November 1, 1944 – August 20, 2023
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Reba Gail Thomas Lawler who touched our lives with her unwavering love, radiant smile, and her enchanting musical talents. She was called to her Lord on August 20, 2023, leaving behind a legacy that will forever resonate in our hearts.
Born on November 1, 1944, Reba brought a symphony of joy into the lives of all those fortunate enough to know her. Music was the language through which she expressed her emotions and shared her experiences. From a tender age of four, she began singing sacred harp and it was evident that her fingers danced with grace upon the strings of her guitar, or the keys of her piano. Her voice could transform ideas into melody throughout her life.
Beyond her role as a musician, Reba was a beacon of love and compassion. Her love for music was matched only by her love for her family, and her legacy lives on in the melodies she shared and the love she gave.
