Robert Brandon Mitchell

Robert Brandon Mitchell, 52, of Muscle Shoals, AL passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. Visitation will be Friday, May 12, 2023 from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with a service to follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Michael Cummings will be officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Creek Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Inez Mitchell and William and Frances Canida.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Mitchell; children, Anna Morrison (Patrick), Lucas Mitchell, Cody Mitchell (Alexia), Devin Mitchell, Dillon Mitchell, Tyler Green (Kaitlin), and Trevor Green (Hayley); sister, Tyra Megois (Lee); parents, Robert and Linda Mitchell; mother-in-law, Barbara Neugent; brother-in-law, Michael Neugent; grandchildren, Stella Morrison, Ryder Green, Marleigh Green, JD Riggs, Jacob Mitchell, Evelyn Mitchell, and Paisley Hensley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Brandon was a lot of things. He was the life of the party. He was always saying things he probably shouldn't. He was never afraid of a little danger. He was a true cowboy. He was a charmer and a flirt. He was the blues man. He was Johnny Cash made over. He was the best husband and father. He was the kind of friend a friend would like to have. Brandon made the most of every moment he had and lived life to the fullest. He loved harder than anyone we know. He was wild as they come but he talked to Jesus often. He died a damn good man. We know he's grinning ear to ear pickin with johnny and laughing with his grandparents. What a joy it is to know we will meet again.
