Roy McDougal

Roy McDougal, 67, of Tuscumbia, AL passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. Visitation will be Friday, November 3, 2023 from 5-7 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Service will be Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 12 p.m. in Colbert Memorial Chapel. Bro. Wayne Franks will be officiating. Burial will be in McDougal Huff Cemetery. He retired from Nafco, but he was most proud to be the master gardener at Lowes. He was in the Teamsters Local and of the Baptist Faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kazy and Louella McDougal; brothers, Alton McDougal, Charles McDougal, Howard McDougal, Troy McDougal, and Ray McDougal; sisters, Rozell McDonald, Evelane Franks, and Eva Tingle.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda McDougal; son, Chris McDougal and his favorite daughter-in-law Emily; sisters, Jonnie Power and Faye Barnett; two special sister-in-law’s, Debbie McDougal and Glenda Mitchell; special nephew, Gene McDougal; and the light of his world, Elleanor McDougal “Baby Girl”; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Chad Davis, Chad Fisher, Cody Dalrymple, Matthew Dalrymple, Brent Scott, Devin Berryhill, and Jace Hamilton. Honorary pallbearer will be Shane Nipper.
