Samantha Mae Kelly

Samantha Mae Kelly, 41, of Leighton, AL passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. The service will be Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in Shaw Cemetery.

Samantha was a funny and outgoing person. She always had a smile on her face. She enjoyed fishing and playing her guitar with dad and friend, Joe Sheffield. Samantha enjoyed smoking with her “papaw” Ovie Crosswhite.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chris Kelly; papaw, Ovie Crosswhite; big momma, Edna Watson; uncle, Elvis Hamm; and best friend, Jordon Grissom.

She is survived by her parents, Alton and Patricia Watson’ children, Christina Hopper (Jordan) and Chris Kelly (Alaska); siblings, Darrel Watson, Diane Bass, Kathy Seymore, Stephanie Fisher, and mamaw, Nadine Crosswhite; uncle, Danny Watson; aunt, Shirley Moreland; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Bradley, Ricardo, Rudy, Danny, Anthony, and Rusty.
