William Eugene Barnes

William Eugene Barnes, 86, of Tuscumbia passed away April 11, 2021. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 1-2 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with a service to follow in the chapel at 2 p.m.  Seth Hood will be officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.

He was a member of Colbert Heights Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellard Barnes and Effie Honey Barnes; sister, Evelyn Potter; and brother, Thomas Lloyd Barnes.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Barnes; son, Tim Barnes (Sandra); daughter, Sherry Cornelius (Nate); grandchildren, Josh Barnes, Kyle Gennaro (Tori), and Lucas Cornelius; and great granddaughter, Ella Gennaro.

Pallbearers will be Josh Barnes, Kyle Gennaro, Lucas Cornelius, David Honey, Jr., Tommy Honey, and Jimmy Potter, Jr.
