William Petty, Jr. Obituary

In loving memory of William Boyd Petty, Jr., beloved husband, Dad and Pops, who passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018, at the age of 86. He was born in New Orleans and lived in Louisiana until moving to Sheffield, AL in 2007.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Janet Ann Petty; father: William B. Petty; mother and step-father: Virginia and Kenneth Clark; and sister: Virginia Faye Higgins.

He is survived by his daughters: Natalie (David) Branscomb and Linda (Richard) Beatty; son: Boyd (Jonica) Petty; grandchildren: Daniel Branscomb, Austin Beatty, Virginia (Taylor) Branscomb Fife, Elliot Beatty, Carlin (Jonah) Petty Mumphrey, Cameron Petty, Claire Petty and Caroline Petty; sister: Gloria Petty Young, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private family graveside service will be held on October 6, 2018, with a public Celebration of Life immediately following at 3:30 pm at Grace Life Fellowship, located at 10210 Barringer Foreman Road, Baton Rouge, LA.
