Willie Jane (Hubbard) Jackson

Willie Jane Jackson, 78, of Leighton, AL passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2023. Visitation will be Friday, January 20, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 10 a.m. in the chapel. Bro. Kenneth Bond will be officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Creek Cemetery.

Mrs. Willie loved her church, and especially all of the children she taught in Sunday School and Vacation Bible School over the years. She also enjoyed mapping out and going to yard sales, quilting, and reading.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Kenneth Fred Jackson; parents, Emory and Mary Hubbard; and brother, Charles Ray Hubbard.

She is survived by her sons, Kenny Jackson (Cristy) and Scott Jackson (Rachel); grandchildren, Jacob, David, Hope, and IzzyBelle; brothers, Harvey Hubbard, Harold Hubbard (Jane), Lonnie Hubbard, and Wayne Hubbard; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Jackson, David Jackson, Zac Hubbard, Jason Hubbard, Justin Hubbard.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
