Jerry Glenn Blankinship, 73 of Muscle Shoals, AL passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017. His family will receive friends for visitation Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Colbert Memorial Chapel from 2-3pm with the service beginning at 3pm in the chapel.
Jerry enjoyed riding his motorcycle for many charities including the Birmingham Ride for Kids Pediatric Brain Surgery and the Wings Across Tennessee rides. He was a member of the Honda Goldwing Road Riders Association Chapter K. and participated in the Patriot Guard. He was a member of Grassy Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Joyce Blankinship; parents, Neala K. and Fred Dale Blankinship; and sister, Deloris K. Brandl.
He is survived by his sons, David Blankinship (Stacie) and Doug Blankinship (Alisa); daughters, Kim Waits (James Allen Waits), and Kelly Marcum (Adam); and grandchildren Johnny Mullins, Michael Mullins, Adrian Bernard, Hannah, Kattie, and Sarah Waits, and Austin Marcum.
