Mary Elizabeth “Beth” Hendrix, age 80, of Muscle Shoals, AL passed away Thursday, May 05, 2016. Visitation will be Monday, May 09, 2016 at Woodward Avenue Baptist Church from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Officiating will be Brother Ron Ethridge and Brother Will Rushing.
Mrs. Hendrix was a member of Woodward Avenue Baptist Church. She was very active with her Bridge Club, Art Club, Study Club, and Bible study. She attended University of West Georgia and Georgia State University and was Vice President of Hendrix Glass Service.
Preceded in death by parents, Rudith Glenn Harcrow and Bertha Mae Hyatt; son-in-law, Jim Wayland; brother, Wyatt Harcrow; father-in-law, Charlie Earl (Pete) Hendrix and mother-in-law, Mildred Crawford Hendrix.
Survivors are husband, Bob E. Hendrix; Daughters, Tracy H. Wayland, Alison H. Dodson (Sammy); sister, Sue May; grandchildren, Beth Hughes (Andrew), Austin Dodson (Amy), and Lee Wayland, and Charlie Dodson; great grandchildren; Emmett Dodson, and Collier Hughes.
Pallbearers are Wes Emmons, Sam Scarborough, Jimmy Dodson, Warren Crouch, Sam Stribling, Jerry Miller, and Charles Cottles.
