My deepest sympathies and prayers to the family and close friends of my teammate, Thad. When I arrived to the University as a receiver, he was among the most helpful to me. Talented and team oriented, I'll miss him and always remember him from those years on the field. He did his job and never bragged about his abilities which were many. Along side Ozzie, George Pugh ('73 & '74), Joe Dale, Keith Pugh, Bruce Bolton, Jerry Brown, Bill Henderson, Rick McClain and Russ Shamun..Thad had a 'quiet confidence' that we all appreciated. Roll Tide, Thad, Roll Tide.

RIP my brother. I went 7th to 12th grade with Thad. He was always a friend to me. He was truly one of the great ones. He was a great teammate at Colbert County High School and great classmate. My thoughts and prayers to the family at this time.
